Wake up
I awoke at 5.15 Then went to take a drink of water then head downstairs.

Downstairs
Now went to laptop, took scimx pills, then worked on the power of the mind chapter 2.  I also then science self help book chapter 1.  Now went to work on Duolingo Spanish, then have vitamins multi and cod liver oil.  Then next had herbs and spices - rosemary, oregano, mustard seeds, ginger, garlic, cinnamon, tumeric, fenugreek and Cayenne.  Also went to have honey and nuts and seeds - Brazil, walnuts and also pumpkin and sesame seeds.  After that I went to exercise used 20 sit ups, 10 weight push ups and 10 leg and arm lifts. Also weigh at 12 St 96lbs on scale.

Bathroom
Now I went to go to make bed after opened curtains, then chat Hannah and gave her a backrub. Then I went to floss, Listerine before brushed teeth. I also shaved, then showering while listening to Evan Carmichael talk on morning habits.

Downstairs
I then chat Hannah, played around as well.  Then I got changed then downstairs to chat here with her,  then away at 7.32.  Hannah set alarm just playing around stuff.

Adventure
Next left to walk to work lift from Hannah.  Then arrived at station to get train at 7.53.  Listened to TED talk on journalism freedom here as well.  Then updated word of day along with create ideas on music and journalism connecting.

Train
Here went to listen to music - Beethoven  offer to joy.  Also updated journal here as well.

Coatdyke
Walked to work listening to music Beethoven, back to the future then seal and Greensleeves. I went to head to the library checked emails and also updated journal stuff.

- noticed massively improved mood here from music
- sci MX only on gym days working well

Lab
Here went to start up in lab before going to work on specials with Morag then went for a break at 10.00.

Break
Now went to chat in locker room for a while, chatted with maria, Neil, Micheal, kyle, Gordon and Lynn.  Also updated evernote here.

- getting better at telling fun stories just need to keep it up

Lab
Now went to go to work on specials again then lunch at 12.00.

Lunch
Now went to canteen, meet up with Gordon, maria and Lynn then chatted here for a while.

Lab
Now back to doing lab work again finishing up the specials and sorting out slides as well before went for a break at 3.00. 

Break
Went to sit chatted here for a while with Micheal, Lynn, Gordon, Neil and kyle.

Lab
Back in work, went to do sorting out stainer then went  and clear up then away at 4.45.

- nice fun joking here as well

Coatdyke
Now went along to the station here, after check emails in library.  I then went to go get the train, listening to start wars then Indiana Jones music.  I also updated journal as well.

Train
Here I went to update my journal and fix Evernote too.

Easterhouse
Now walked on back, listening to ramit sethi talk on his success, then chatted with hannah, who was actually wanting to meet up with me in morrisons.  Unfortunately did faff around for a bit so could not meet her here as home by time found out why.

- Note to self, next time hannah calls, find out why immediately

Home
Now in, changed then went to go and watch game of thrones - one hodor died at the end, quite sad actually.  Also chat to hannah when she got home, she got stuff in morrisons, so I had bagels for dinner.  Then later on she went to paint bench, chatted for a bit here supporting her then left for the gym after packing up everything.

- Way better at budgeting time here now

Gym
Now drove to the gym listening to ramit sethi interview on how he was successful. Then at the gym, went on in. Then began workout on bike 5 min at 7, then Then did back one 3 sets x8 65kg.  Then went to go and use leg exercise 3 sets 8 at 120kg did fine. Also listening to bruce springsteen music while reading kindle - $100 startup, covering info on business set up. Then used machine chest 60kg 1 sets of 8.  Then sit ups 30, 15, 10 before going to use treadmill 5 min 7.5 incline 3. After that changed then took protein bar along with changing for swimming. Here did 12 laps before going to use jacuzzi here. Then out and showered before going to change.

- Ideas about pre release work, eg films advertising and creating buzz, try for book for example or self

Rest night
Now went to sort bag, chat to hannah who was watching britain got talent also put on dishwasher and bins out.  Then she went to bed, chatted with her and gave her backrub while she watched despicable me.  After that I went to go and before going to speed read - history of arab world then update journal and finances then bed.  I also did some clear up before going to bed.

- noticed improved speed reading here

Bed
Then went to bed flossed, Listerine then brushed teeth before going to bed.  I then updated journal and Evernote plans, then sleep at 10.55 after chat to Hannah.

So overall success very pleased about it too

Day 5 of challenge

Well after a few days of silence might have thought I gave up.

Heck no, improved upon this and even went to get up at 5.30.  This meant I had even more time to work on novels, so far so good here.

Also got some Spanish done here as well using Duolingo.

Later work looks like might be working on saht website which think can only be a good thing here.

So day 2 now

So into day 2

So far morning wake up went fine, got up early so obvious need bed early here.

Also used water to block me from turning off the alarm here working well.

Now turned to improve writing idea to wake up earlier to provide the time.

Did some here but also aware need to edit better but did sort quite a chunk here.

Daily Challenge 1 - Overcome desire to stay in bed after 6.

Well today, I decided to take on a new challenge to wake up at 6.00am, instead of 6.30-7ish, known to me and my wife as get out of bed you lazy so and so.

So to prepare, I did a number of things here.

1.  I set my alarm (bit obvious but hey part of the task) for 6.00am
2.  I took up a glass of water to drink when awoke.  I also placed it in front of the alarm to make it more difficult for me to just hit off on it ( made it more difficult to be lazy)
3.  I went on upstairs earlier, went up at 11.00, instead of around 12 -3ish which had been my previous shameful target before. (Preparing night before vital to help here).

So how did day one go

I heard the alarm and nearly dozed  off but hannah nudged me awake (my wife incase wondering).  Then I got up and drank the water and alarm off.  I felt fine despite a little dozy from dreaming here.

Then with that success, went on downstairs and went to use computer,  Here did some work on novel 1 - sci fi about memory instead of money, revising after took caffeine pill stuff, to help stay awake with some water.  Felt good as had been behind on the novel front for ages and nice to start day with sense of achievement.

Then after that did some work on novel 2 Science and self help, although time constraints a bit tricky but hey it worked so far.

Then after that took herbs and spices have a range of them starting up with rosemary, oregano, all the way to cayenne.  After that some honey then nuts and seeds for breakfast here.

So far so good got a lot done downstairs.  However there was more to come.  I now did some light exercise, which I had never had time to do before so that worked out well with some sit ups, push ups using weights and also mix lifts using legs and arms here.

Later on went to give wife nice backrub, then showered after floss, listerine and brushing teeth.  Then shaving and showered - nice and refreshing while listening to daily youtube video - this time charles duhigg about habits.

Later on left for work and listening to wonderful ted talk on gene box - terrifying but this is outweighed by the amazing good this work potentially can do.

So train listening to music - my life stuff to get into zone before going to head to lab.

This can go on but basically

1.  Day far more productive thanks to up early
2.  Felt much better as well
3.  Exercise in morning was useful here
4.  Plan to use this for new challenge for tomorrow

May 2 2016 - productive and tiring

Not the best start to the day with a late wake up and scrambling for work

Later on Lab very busy with only me doing embedding for most of the day

Exhausted got back and Hannah not good mood as her work not coming over Mac to PC

Later gym, noticing big improvements in my muscle strength, stomach crutches too

Then drive around, some practice as enjoying liberating feeling of pick a place and go

Home, in nice to Hannah - realise the importance of saying something nice and giving reason for it

Later writing as plan to use eBook to help people, self and finances to o
